Community Design Project
Works on site and Opening event
The work to create the Garden has begun on site and will finish this week. David Webster and Sons were appointed to undertake the works and have been on site for two weeks and have one more to go. An opening event is to take place with a number of dignitaries on Saturday the 25th April at 11am. Following the unveiling of the palque the local community are invited to take part in planting shrubs on site to help completed the garden. A small display about the project will also take place in the library.

The implementation of the garden has been funded by United Utilities through their United Futures Programme,

by MWDA through Greening Greater Merseyside, part of the Landfill Tax Credit scheme.
